Many schools and school districts seek to provide their staff with guidance in handling challenging student behavior. The Behavior Intervention Support Team (BIST) is a school-wide behavior program developed with a purpose similar to other school-wide behavior programs, to provide teachers, students, and administrators with consistent tools and strategies to respond to inappropriate student behavior.
