ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) replaced the No Child Left Behind Act in 2015. The Evidence for ESSA website uses identifiers such as strong, moderate, and promising to rate programs designed to increase the likelihood of student success. This link will take you to a webpage containing 5 programs with a strong rating, 1 with a moderate rating, and 4 with a promising rating. Of the ten programs, 6 are centered around middle school and 4 are for high school. The programs can be sorted into community and ethnic groups, as well as into main features such as family engagement and cooperative learning.
