Saturday school requires students serve a detention on the weekend to make up for their misbehavior at school. It provides an alternative to suspension that doesn’t exclude students from the school day. Also, Saturday school can be used to have students complete homework, recieve academic tutoring, and recieve specified instruction (e.g., social skills) in areas that the student exhibits challenges.
